First Sports Clinic for Payatas

April 2016 – Update

The highlight for the month of April was the summer outing for the kids last April 25 in Montalban, Rizal. In photos are some the kids who have been with us in the feeding center since August 2015. We are also gearing up for May, as we prepare a Sports Clinic for basketball and table tennis for the kids in the area.

March 2016 – Update

Since it’s Easter break, we were able to take some time to play with the kids at the feeding center this week. The kids enjoyed playing with the home-made clay we brought. It was nice to see them unleash their creativity and simply enjoy!

Puppet Show for the kids

A group of young students from MAPUA offered to provide a puppet show for the kids last March 9. They also brought in some snacks for the kids. We welcome groups who want to visit and do workshops for the kids. Please email themealeniumproject@gmail.com

February 2016 – Update

We have new kids to replace those that dropped out of the program. We welcome Pamela, Athens, Lheniel, Althea, CJ and Mark to the feeding center. February’s activities included  the kids making Valentine cards for our sponsors, finger painting, reading, writing and learning how to write the alphabet for the smaller ones.

January 2016 – Update

We welcomed the New Year with 4 new kids (Jillian, Alex, Jhenna and Carlos). Our 2016 goal is to be able to add at least 5 more kids to the feeding program. Star Wars: The Force Awakens Block Screening

It is truly heartwarming to see that the excited group of cinema-goers did more than just watch the much-awaited Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie; they also helped feed hungry children in Payatas. Christmas Fundraiser

Christmas Party for the kids!

Last November 28, we had a Christmas party for the kids and their families. With your donations, we were able to give each of them a backpack filled with food items, new clothes and some toys! It was truly heartwarming to see them enjoy the games, the treats and the special appearances of PBB Teen stars (Bailey, Ylona, Jimboy and Franco) and everyone’s favorite mascot, Jollibee!
