Christmas Celebrations at St. Benedict

Dec 9, 2017

The MEALenium Project had two Christmas get-togethers this year with St. Benedict, one for the study hall kids and another for the feeding center children. Philip Sebastian Belmonte and Alexa Isabella Kahn organized all the parties and the donations for the Christmas presents for all the kids and the parent volunteers.

Alexa Isabella Kahn shares a meal with one of the The MEALenium Project’s feeding center beneficiary.

The MEALenium Project ends 2018 on a happy note that only 2 out of the 31 kids in the feeding center are malnourished. A great achievement of 93% healthy kids for the year! Likewise, the study hall children are also beginning to improve on their Math and English in only almost 5 months. They are engaged and attentive on Saturdays, all eager to listen to stories and do their homework with the help of the tutors.
